Apply for american citizenship?

Hi everyone,

There is one thing bothering me lately...my current status is permanent resident with chinese passport and I am happy with it. But, my mom is coming to my home soon to help kids and housework...Therefore, I am thinking of applying for american citizenship (since I am eligible now) so that I can apply green card for my mom when I become an american citizen....I heard that she will get some medicare after she gets a green card...I think it would be nice for mom to get some medicare or might be other small benefit under my help..

My question for you here:
1. What is my mom going to get after she gets green card?
2. Is there anything that I might regret in the future due to quit my chinese citizenship? BTW, my hu*****and got his american citizenship already.
