my girlfriend is Canadian,08/17/09 she got the approval notice of H1B (I-797C) after Oct 1st 2009 , she is working as H1B status, but never been out of USA after 10/01/09, now she is planning to go to china for business travel, but she did not have I-94, is it a problem?
-There is the I-94 along with the H1B approval notice, so just check the H1 approval notice and she will find the I-94 in the right corner of the lower part of the I-797C. She needs to provide that I-94 when she leaves US for China.

if she need, where she can apply?which kind documents she need for come back into USA?

should she need make a appoint with USA embassy in beijing to get H1B visa?
-She does not need to apply for a visa to come back. She just need to bring her passport, the original H1 approval notice (I-797C) and an employment verification letter from her employer indicating her employment title, salary, responsibilites and the employment start date, and show the I-797C and the letter to the US Customs officer when she enters US/comes back, and then ask the officer to issue her the h1 status with a new I-94 (she needs to fill out the I-94 card in the plane as everyone usually does).
