我家父刚刚去世两个多月，剩下老妈一个人，我很不放心，想让她来美国。现在有这样几个问题，我的婚姻绿卡是2008年2月拿到的，我是不是2011年二月就可以申请公民？
-Yes.

大概多久能下来？
-It may take one year around.
我在申请公民的哪一个环节可以开始给我妈申请绿卡？
-after you take the naturalization oath.

还有一个问题是我妈的护照2010年3月过期，我想让她在这边延期护照。
-She had better get the passport extension in China before she apply for the visa to come to US.

然后Hopefully可以给她延期一次再待六个月，她就不用再回国一趟了，老人家不愿意折腾。综合这些因素，牛人们给看看她什么时候来比较合适？
-She can come to US anytime after she extend her passport and wait for you to get the US citizenship to sponsor her GC application even if she is out of status/unlawfully present in US.
