How to define a previous experience for PERM application

I worked for company A for several years. Now company A is bankrupted and our division is sold as an ssset to company B, and all the employees of our divisionn are transfered to (hired by ) company B.

Is my employment with company B is a new hire or just a continuation? Can the experiences I earned from company A will be counted as a previous experience for the new PERM application by company B?
