my EB2. Now she is going to file 2nd 485 based on her dad's EB1a. But we want to file this 2nd 485 by ourselves not by the attorney. Is it ok?

If it is ok, we want to write a letter to withdraw the 1st 485 when filing 2nd 485. can we withdraw the 1st 485 by ourselves not by the attorney who filed the kid's 1st 485?
