问题是我拿H1B来美，从第1年就用1040EZ报税，从来没用过1040NR，我的W9上面也写我是以resident alien来报税的，我一直claim tax treaty一点没有问题。
-You should use 1040NR for the first three years after you entered US. But it does not hurt you if you filed 1040EZ and claimed the US-China Treaty benefit because you were qualified for that during that time.

我有了绿卡以后，报税身份一点没变，同样可以填1040EZ，所以不知道很多人说，绿卡以后要被征税依据是什么？
-Now, your status has been changed to LPR, not qualified for that benefit anymore. That is the difference. If you still claim that benefit, you will be trouble whether it is from IRS or USCIS.
