本人 刚刚来到一个大学做 part-time的 postdoc，刚刚开始工作 3周左右。现在有个工业界的offer觉得还不错，

1）请问 我刚刚工作3周，可以办H1B transfer吗？
-It is hard to say. Based on the H1 rule, you need to work for the employer for significant time (e.g. 2 to 3 months), but you can ask your new employer try it using premium processing (the company should pay all the fee if they really want you). I do not sugggest you to work before the transfer is approved because it is too risky in your situation.

2）如果transfer不成功的话，我现在在这个大学的 H1B还是有效的对吗？
-Yes. But you had better not let your current employer know you find a new job and do the H1 transfer.
我还可以继续留在这个大学做postdoc对吗？
-Yes.
