回复：OPT开始启用的头三个月必须找到工作吗？

朋友是物理专业PHD，马上要毕业了，按规定有27个月的OPT，但听说有规定是必须在OPT开始启用的头三个月里找到工作，
-Correct. You can find a part-time, contract, volunteer, paid or unpaid job if you can not find a rull-time job as long as these kind of jobs are related to your study program/major.
否则，不能用这27个月的opt，而且必须离境，现在这个规定改了吗？
- Nothing change. By the way, there is not 27个月的opt, but 12-month OPT and STEM majors can extend the OPT for another 15-month period after the 12-month OPT finish.
