Nobody can give you the answer other than the DHS inspector who will review your AP and visa at the boarder when you come back.
A real case happened in 2006. A person was denied I-485 when he was out of the U.S. When he returned on AP, he was denied reentry and sent back to the country he came from on the next airplane after he was detained one day at the airport.
Many people return on AP w/o any problem.
It's your choice to take the risk.
