AP file with employment gap

I am trying to file my AP and the situation is kind of tricky.

There are quite a few months gap between my previous job and current one. My H-1B visa is expired and I-485 pending.

According to the I-131 instructions, I need "a copy of any document issued to you by USCIS showing your present status in the United States" besides my I-485 receipt. The question is that what I should use for this purpose, a copy of my most recent I-94 card, or EAD card, or other stuffs.
