如果H-1B申请通过后不激活，可以一直保持它的有效性吗？

H1 status is not valid until you got I-94 with H1 stamp. Your question is not correct. You can get I-94 as long as you have valid H1B Visa.

485 is a status. The status will be impact if you start to use a new status, in this case, H1 status.
