485pending, 140 approved, PD July 2007，现因为要去加拿大工作，想把green card application转到consular process，请问会转到中国，还是加拿大？
-Consular processing must take place at a US consulate located at the applicant's country of birth or last foreign residence.So, if you have Canada green card, you can use a US consulate in Canada for consular processing. Otherwise, you need to do it in China.
** Thanks. I only have Canada work permit right now so can I file the transfter application after I get Canada green card or I should file it before I leave US?
