我刚拿到公民身份，女儿是学生身份与我生活在一起。我要为女儿申请亲属移民，可能要4-5年。

可是我女儿毕业后一年学生身份结束了，找工作又不能给申请H1.
-Not true. She absolutely can get the H1 status as long as she find an employer to sponsor her. If her status has gap, she may need to go outside US to get an visa to activate the H1 status if her h1 approval without I-94.

在这期间没有了身份怎么办？

必须回国等排期?
