我的老父亲6月来美国，进关时I-94表上被写上了 “NO EXTENSION",应12月底离境，但他的签证有效期到明年五月。我母亲刚刚去世，我希望他能在这里多呆一段时间，改换心境，慢慢适应没有老伴的日子。如果我为他申请延期是否有获批延期的希望？或者有什么其他的途径？请教知情人，多谢了！
-Your father still can file the B2 extension application and he still has a chance to get it approved. CBP is in a different system/area from USCIS and thus, USCIS may ignore what CBP wrote on your father's I-94 and approve his B2 extention.
