临时绿卡过期但是没有收到正式绿卡

我有一个朋友,四年前和美国公民结婚来美, 后来申请到两年的临时绿卡, 绿卡今年6月份到期
-After your friend filed the application to remove the conditions for the 临时绿卡, his/her permanent residency automatically is renewed at one-year intervals until his/her application is approved or denied. So, he/she has no status problem and can continue to do what he/she is doing.

今年四月份通知过去打指模
但是到现在九月底了都没有回音
没有绿卡寄过来
办过的朋友有哪一位知道
这是不是不正常呢？
哪里可以查询到？
