LD签H-4，给了B-2。LD以后可能还会需要H-1工作，请问这个B-2签证有什么影响吗？
-B2 status validation usually only has 6 months and your LD needs to change the B2 status to H4 or H1 before it expires. The filing fee for status change is > $300 and you have to wait for several months to get it approved. So, it is inconvenient.

还是说最好重新联系使馆，改为H-4？
