What does "Acceptance" mean?

I just checked the status of my H1B renewal petition using the receipt number, and below is what I got:

On September 16, 2009, an amended notice on this case was mailed describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on the notice.

What does it mean? Anybody has any idea about this? Thank you.
