我侄女高中毕业，拿到了F1 签证来美读大学，但是错过了开学时间， 她是否能现在就来美国，然后等到明年一月份再去学校报到？

If your niece can not enter U.S. this time, she needs to return the I-20 back to the school and ask the school to send her a new one. 如果想转学，她是否可以不去目前录取她的学校报到，而直接申请转学？
-No, she needs to enrol the school for at least one semester to be qualified for f1 transfer. But she can get a new i-20 from another school now and directly go to that school for study and give up the old school. Of course, she needs a new f1 visa if her current visa expires.
