Depends on how long the gap between your H1 I-94 expiration and your I-485 filing, and also depends on whether you still worked and how long you had worked after your I-94 expired. Anyway, if your unlawyful presence is > 180 days or one year, you will be banned to enter U.S. even if you use AP.
