If you go LC based I140/I485, you still need 3 years to get LC first, then you can file I140/I485.
LC EB2 is still slower than NIW EB2 considering the total Green Card process time.

Don't cancel your NIW I140, you can start your LC application now, which is from Labor department.
You should get NIW I140 result before your LC approval.

If you are lucky and your company has other LC available for you, then you can file I140/I485 at once,
to get the benefit of Pilot pragram now.
