renew AP，使用AP，还要renew EAD么

我最近新renew 了AP， 我的律师说，我如果使用AP,就要renew EAD。
请问需要么？我没有要换工作的打算

她的邮件如下：

If you use the Advance Parole, then you should get the EAD. If you don't use the AP then you can just keep using the H-1B status for employment authorization.
