关于回美证（reentry permit) 的问题

请问各位大虾：
我是08年2月申请的回美证，同时也回了国。08年8月底收到回美证，是2年期。可是到明年2月，我就离开美国境2年了，我想知道我必须2月前就回美国，还是可以等到8月再回来？多谢各位帮忙！
