I am applying green card for my mom. I will file I-864EZ for her. In question 19, it asks for Federal income tax information. It says I need to use the adjusted gross income on IRS Form 1040EZ form as my total income. But I filed joint tax return with my wife. How should I answer this question?
-You should use your whole family income as the financial support for your mohter's green card application, not just your personal income. So, the income in the joint tax return is just the right one.
