我的EB2 priority date是06年12月的，赶上了2007年的顺风车交了485， 但是现在看来不知道 还得等几年。
可是明年我就可以开始找教职了。问题是如果找到可以办身份的大学，重新申请EB2(现在的EB2申请是用专业工作申请的, 跟academic完全无关)，会需要从头来过吗？
-If you academic work is still in the similar area as the old one, your I-485 is still OK. No need to be the same work. For example, you worked in a chemistry company in your major, and then you teach and research in a school in chemistry, you may be still Ok. All of this depends on how you jsutify it and the IO in USCIS does not know it too much really.

是不是可以用什么linkage排到前一个申请的priority date上呢？
-You still can use the PD if both I-140 is approved.

外还有一个技术问题让我困扰了很久。因为我的EB2是自己办的，参照了两个朋友请
律师办的材料，这两个朋友一个是EB2，一个是EB3。我们的EB2当然都是要求有硕士学
历。
我的问题是，后来的收据、编号或者任何材料都没有显示出EB2 和EB3申请有什么不同
呀？ 我怎么样可以确定我的申请是放在EB2这个类别里呢？

look your i140 approval notice:

EB3:
Skilled worker or Professional Sec 203 (b)(3) (A)(i) or (ii)

EB2:
Mem of Professional w/ADV deg or of Exceptn'l Ability Sec 203(b) (2)
