Perm filed one year ago but not approved yet, is this normal?

My hu*****and filed PERM (EB3) last September.No updates at all.

I heard some people say they got it in about 6 months last year. Is the process slowing down again due to the depression?

Any one else filed last year hasnt got the perm approved?
