Did you make such a visa appointment before you went for landing?? If I make a visa appointment, when I come back to the US, will the US border people be able to find out that I have a pending appointment by checking my passport No. in the computer?? They might say that since I have a visa appointment in the following day, then I should apply for a new visa. I might be thinking too much on this. But please clarify. Thank you for your time again.

By the way, do you have the web site for making visa appointments?
