if you check arrest in DS156, there will be a chance of visa denial.
However, if you hide the arrest and get the visa, you will have bigger trouble at the time of AOS (if you want to immigrate), not because of the arrest hitory, but because of lying on the form about the arrest. Non-immigrant visa check is quite loose compared to the check during AOS.
