Pijiang and 863211, pls help

我的H1B身份今年年底到期。打算九月份回国，请问签证会不会有危险，因为身份还只有3个月。如果我拿着h1b renewal application 的 receipt, 会不会有帮助？
或者我应该等h1b延期了再回去？
