Ask Mr. PJing: My wife 485 pending (副申请),坐月子其间能不能拿 short-term

disability.

She worked for a company over 3 years. If she claim shortterm disability, is that gonna hurt our GC application? She try to stop working for two months.

If she can, does she need EAD?

And after she claim that money, what's her status? (H1 or AOS?)
