我妈持有绿卡，要回国，呆烦了。想呆7，8个月左右。但一定在一年之内回来
她这样的case需要申请白皮书（RP)吗？我现在都糊涂了。

如果需要办RP，她8个月回来，对将来公民申请有无影响？
如果不需要，她8个月回来，对将来公民申请有无影响？

为什么许多人说是多于6个月，就要白皮书。但我从USCIS的I131 Instruction PDF file。 Page 2，Ｐara4:

"If you stay outside the United States for less than one year, you are not requried to apply for a Re-entry Permit. You may re-enter the United States on your Permanent Resident Card(Form I-551)."
