急! I20 转过学 回国返美有问题吗

我一个朋友去年I20来美读书。今年初转到另一所学校读书。现放假回国了。将于7-12返美。去年的VISA今年8-24到期。有人说她必须重新签证否者会被拒绝入关。请问是真的吗？
