IF the kid files 485 together with the 485 of the parent

based on marriage, can the kid be regarded as non-international student and apply for scholarship before he gets temporarily green card?

In other words, in 婚姻green card, 只要小孩跟大人一起递交了485， 在未得到临时green card前， 小孩可以当做非国际学生录取并申请奖学金金？
