Need Help!!! Empolyment Verification Letter

我的i-485, i-140已经在两年前递交。我已经换了另一所大学做博后(还是生物医学），现在用EAD工作。 今天收到uscis 信。要求: documentary evidence which establishes that you continue to be engaged in the occupation that is the basis of your National Interest Waiver, a biomedical researcher.
要求提供：A: a currently dated letter from the present employer; B: copies of recent and/or ongoing publications or research; ......................
我的问题是：哪个部门提供Empolyment Verification letter? Human resource? the Department that I am working in? My current Boss?
