目前I-485 pending, 由于我们2003年第一次来美国时的J-1签证上有2 years Foreign Residency Requirement的限制，我们很担心在申请绿卡时会有麻烦，但律师跟我们讲由于我们已经用不同的身份，F-1签证入美，并且又取得了H-1签证，这就说明J-1的身份已经结束了，在申请绿卡的时候不会有影响，这是否属实？

-I think you still need the J1 waiver. Most likely, USCIS will send RFE to you for this document. You had better process the J1 waiver now, so if you get RFE, you can provide the j1 waiver to USCIS. If your I-485 is denied because you do not have J1 waiver, you can do Motion-to-reopen/reconsideration to provide the J1 waiver document.
