The company can deposit directly your salary to your bank in U.S. if you want, but you do not need to pay the income tax to U.S. govenment, but to Chinese and/or Canadian govenments because you are canadian citizen and work in China, not in U.S. (your company should not report your income to U.S. Revenue). I think there should be soem kind of agreements between China and Canada to deal with such an issue.
