刚才HR lady打来电话，说移民律师要给美国驻中国领馆写信，问我会去北京还是上海领馆签H1b，我和她说现在北京和上海的领馆约工作签证比较难，希望可以的话能去香港签证。她说帮我去向律师问一下这个问题。

我现在有些担心，明明H1b transfer是在美国境内办，为什么要写信给驻中国领馆呢？而且去香港签应该是可以的吧？

-This lawyer is really crazy. Can you change another lawyer? He/she just is treating this case as you were physically in China now, not in U.S.A. That is why he/she ask you to go back to China before he/she file the new H1 petition (not H1 transfer).
