比方说我的I-94还要一年多才过期,那么辞职之后再I-94过期之前都是合法居留么?(当然我只打算待一两个月而已。)在这段期间我都是H-1B的身份么?
-Yes, but you have no legal status (out of status). Out of status does not mean you have to be unlawfully present. In your case, whether you are unlawfully present is dependent on your I-94 duration. Because you resign, your H1 status is invalid and you are out of status (no legal status), but your I-94 is still valid and you are legally present.

另外,将来我可能会再回美国来工作或者读书,那么如果辞职之后在美国居留的一段时间,会对我将来回美国有什么影响么?(您谈到了这一点,能不能谈的再详细一些。)
-Of course, No. Because you are still legally present after you resign, you have no unlawful presence record in USCIS file. Even if you have unlawful presence record, but less than > 180 days, this record will not affect you anything in the future. If you get a visa to re-enter U.S. in the future, all of your unlawful presence record (no matter how long it is) will be cancelled and it no more affect you anything.
But if the unlawful presence is > 180 days or > one year, you will not allowed to enter U.S. within 3 years or ten years.
