1， 女方是二婚，1990年离婚并有一儿子判男方抚养，1992年与我朋友结婚并在2002年H4来美， 2003年儿子15岁时H4来美图聚。 全家于2007年五月抵交485.儿子现已21.5岁。
2，请前辈分析什么原因denial。
-Most likely because his step son's age is > 21, so that this kid can not be qualified to be your friend's dependent any more. The kid's I-485 was filed too late.
3，我朋友该如何补救， 大学的哥们， 不忍心看他们难过。
-I do not think your friend can do anything at present.
4， 如何保住孩子的身份。
-This kid may apply to a school for an F1 status.
