It will be better if you wait 3 months, but for her category, even if she filed I-485 a few days after admission, it will still be approved. It's better to wait 3 months because USCIS don't have to question her intent at the time of B2 entry (and cause possible delay in issuing AP) if she has waited long enough. I assume she does want to go back to China using AP later this year, correct? She needs AP to travel.
