So you are currently out-of-status? Are you still working for the company, and if yes, in what status?
This 7 months gap between SEVIS F1 March termination and Oct 1, 2008 H1 start will be picked up if you want to do AOS in the future, and if without visa reentry, this 7 months gap will cause EB I-485 denial.
