I heard that you can legally stay in US for 2 months looking for job after being laied off under H1. Can anyone confirm this?
-Not true. Once he is alid off, techncally, his h1 status is invalid.

How to keep his legal staus to finish his study?
- He may change his status to F1 if the school is pravite or he will graduate from a public high school with 12 months.
