If your friend came using K3/K1 visa, file I-485 now through local office (to Chicago benefit center MSC). It will be two years after I-485 approval that she can apply for unconditioned GC.
If she came using immigrant visa, she is already a conditional PR (=GC holder) for three months. She can remove condition in 18 months.
