this is because if I file I-485 after J-1 waiver, I will need EAD to keep my current job legal.

I want to use H1 instead of EAD because EAD takes more than 1 day to process and my work can't be disrupted.

I want to file I-485 before H1 approval because I want to get advance parole to go back to China for wedding ceremony soon.

That's why I want to know if filing for green card before I get final H1 approval will make my job illegal.
