In the Instruction form of I131, it says: "If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application." I filed my I140 and 485 based on the approval of labor certificate. Is this considered as adjustment of status? I am confused by the term "register permanent residence" and "adjustment of status". Anyone know the difference?
