急！H-1B申请，律师弄错了日期

Sorry, it is really hard to type Chinese.

My attorney did a mistake in my H-1B petition. In the offer letter and all other forms, he stated the date effective from Feb. 05. Actually, I really want to be effective as early as possible, e.g. Oct. 1, 2004. We filed petition as a regular one, but now want to file premium. Does any one know how to correct the date? I thought the H-1B approval date is the effective date, but it is not. I am anxious about my status. Any suggestion, I really appreciate.
