Her problem is her violation of status before (USCIS has not find it yet) by working with H4 status, and she worried about that Her I-485 might be denied and never get green card again (OOS for several years) if USCIS find it later, so she absolutely needs to go outside of U.S. (e.g. Canaqada) to get a new visa to fix this problem. Thus, her I-485 will have no problem anymore.
