sleepbear is right. You or your spouse must claim as a RA and the dependent kids can have tax credit if they are under age 17 before a date (see the pub. for details). Kids have to have tax ID if they don't have SSN. Kids can be NA. Actually only one of either you or your spouse is required to be RA, not both.
