Eventually you will need J waiver or staying outside for two years when you want to switch to H and apply Greencard. You may need to 1) get waiver from domestic relationship (pay off all you owe? ) before apply for J waiver. 2) Or, just as these two DaXia said, staying in China for cumulative two years before returning to US.
