据我所之， 国内换新护照也要１个月以上。你本人不在国内， 好像不可以邮寄办理。 如果你出差是回国内，那么领事馆可以给你办理中国旅行证，回国以后再办理新护照。如果你是到其他国家出差，而且现有护照要过期， 那你真的是out of luck, 可能要cancel trip before you get your new passport from the China Consulate.
