questions about case relink, please help, thanks.

Hi, everyone,
I filed I-140NIW and I-485 to Nebraska in early 2007, and got I-140 approved in 2008. I also filed I-140 EB1a to Texas in late 2007 and got approved recently. My question is if it is likely that I-485 (in Nebraska) the will automatically relink to the I-140EB1a (in Texas). Both cases were self-petitions. Or should I write a letter to request they relink? Any suggestions are appreciated.
